As an action to close my stay in New York, intermittent between 2008 and 2010 and permanent between 2010 and 2012, I asked my friends in the city to wrap me in a seal paper that said ‘Made in Spain’ to bring me back home.
We did this on May 6, 2012 at the Centro Español de la Calle 14, where hundreds of Spanish artists have lived and performed. The action was part of the festival ‘Desperately Seeking Sonia’, curated by Professor John Gilbert at New York University and surroundings, as part of my Master’s Degree in Composition and Fulbright Grant.
